Atin Basak was born in Kolkata in 1966. He studied painting in his hometown and later earned his MA in printmaking from an art college in Baroda Throughout his career, he has received several awards, including the 1999-2000 Charles Wallace India Trust Arts Award and a scholarship from the French Government, which allowed him to work as a visiting artist in France.....
